  Marriage Notes:

GWINEAR.

At Wall Wesleyan Chapel on July 4th Mr. C. H. Hocken, of H.M.S. Pelorus (late of Wall), and Miss Louisa Veale, of Croydon, were married by Rev. E. C. Palmer. The bride was given away by Mr. John Michell, of Wall. She was very prettily attired in a white Japanese silk dress trimmed with blonde lace, and wore a wreath of orange blossom with veil. The shower bouquets, together with those of the bridesmaids', were the gifts of the bridegroom. The bride was attended by Miss E. Veale (Sister), and Miss E. Williams (Hayle). They wore white muslin dresses handsomely trimmed with lace and insertion on pink silk foundation, and large black picture hats. The gold brooches worn were the bridegroom's gifts. The groomsman was Mr. Herbert B. Hocken (London). There was a large number of guests and about 20 attended the "breakfast" and reception at Mrs. Hocken's, Wall. The happy couple departed for Tavistock by the mail, where they will spend their honeymoon....
