  Marriage Notes:

Interesting Wedding at Camelford.

HOCKEN—PARKES.

A nuptial ceremony which attracted a good deal of public interest was the marriage of the Rev. James Henry Hocken, of London, and Miss Sarah Emily Parkes, daughter of the Rev. H. Parkes (superintendent minister of the Camelford Wesleyan Circuit), which took place in the Wesleyan Church on Wednesday in the presence of a considerable congregation. The bride, prettily attired in white, entered the sacred edifice accompanied by her father. Miss Hettie Parkes (sister of the bride) acted as bridesmaid, and the duties of "best man" were fulfilled by Mr. Hocken (brother of the bridegroom). The wedding party also included Mrs. Hocken (mother of the bridegroom), Miss Woolcock (Wadebridge), Miss Emmie Symons, and Miss M. A. Watson....
