In 1881 Emma Wadge, aged 28, born in Poole Cornwall, and husband Agrippa Wadge, aged 28, born in Lewanick Cornwall, coal merchant, were living at 15 Clarke St., Gateshead Durham. Present were daughters Anna (3) of Bearpark Durham, Catherine (1) of Gatehead and Emily (1m) of Gateshead.
In 1891 Emma Wadge, aged 38, born in Illogan Cornwall, and husband Agrippa Wadge, aged 38, born in Lewannick Cornwall, coal merchant, were living at 32 Snowball Ter., Gateshead, Durham. With them were children (born in Gateshead) Annie M. V. (13), Henry (8), Charlotte E. (6), Mabel E. (3) and William V. (2).
In 1901 Emma Wadge, aged 48, born in Illogan, and husband Agrippa Wadge, aged 48, born in Lewannick, coal merchant, were at 15 Snowball Ter., Gateshead Durham. With them were children (born in Gateshead) Henry (18), coal merchant's cartman, Lottie (16), Mabel (14), William (12), and Ethel (9).
In 1911 Emma Wadge, aged 58, born in Illogan Cornwall (mother of 8 children, 2 deceased), and husband of 35 years Agrippa Wadge, aged 58, born in Lewannick Cornwall, coal merchant and cartman, were living at 58 Snowball Terrace, Gateshead, Durham. With them were children (born in Gateshead) Henry (28), working for occupier, Mabel (23), at home, William (22), plumber, and Ethel (20), boot shop saleswoman.
In 1921 Emma Wadge, aged 68 years 7 months, born in Illogan Cornwall, married, was visiting (her daughter) Mabel Ellen Lamb, aged 33 years 11 months, born in Gateshead Durham, married, and her daughter Mira Ethel Lamb, in 19 Holly Avenue, Whitley, Tynemouth, Northumberland.
In October 1928 Emma Wadge, widow, was granted Probate of her late husband's effects.

WADGE.—Hexham, Sunniside, Alexander Cres., at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Teasdale, on the 21st instant, aged 84 years, Emma, dearly beloved wife of the late Agripper Wadge (late of Gateshead). To be interred at Saltwell Cemetery, Gateshead, on Tuesday, at 2.30. Funeral private.
