In 1911 William Wadge, aged 22, born in Gateshead Durham, plumber, was with his parents at 58 Snowball Terrace, Gateshead, Durham.
In 1921 William V. Wadge, aged 32 years 4 months, born in Gateshead, railway signalman, and wife Elizabeth D. M. Wadge, aged 31 years 1 month, born in Gateshead, home duties, were living at 274 Saltwell Rd, Gatehead. With them were sons William V. Wadge (8y 6m) of Gateshead, and Robert E.Wadge (7y 6m) of Shincliffe Durham.
In October 1928 William Wadge, railway signalman, was granted Probate of his late father's personal effects.
In the 1939 Register William V. Wadge (b. 16 Feb 1889), signalman (L N E R), and wife Elizabeth D. M. Wadge (b. 27 May 1890), unpaid domestic duties, were living 253 Saltwell Road, Gateshead. With them were (two records officially closed).
