In 1841 William Vivian, aged 33, born in the county, dresser of ore, and wife Rebekah Vivian, aged 31, were living in Park Bottom, Illogan. With them were children William (11), dresser of ore, Edward (9), Mary (6), John (4), Nicholas (2) and Caroline (9 days).

In 1851 William Vivian, aged 43, born in Illogan Cornwall, copper mine agent, and wife Rebecca Vivian, aged 42, born in St. Kew Cornwall, were living in Parkbottom, Illogan. With them were children (born in Illogan): Wm (21), copper mine agent, Edward (18), copper mine agent, Mary J. (16), house servant, John (14), mine labourer, Nicholas (12), mine labourer, Caroline (9), scholar, Ellen (5), scholar, Joseph (4), and Charles (6 months).

In 1861 William Vivian, aged 53, born in Illogan, copper ore dresser, and wife Rebekah Vivian, aged 51, born in St. Kew, were living in Park Bottom, Illogan. With them were children (born in Illogan) Mary J. (26), house work, Nicholas (22), miner, Caroline (19), at home, Ellen (15), milliner, Joseph (14), miner, Emma (8), scholar, Annie (5), scholar, and John S. (24), miner.

In 1871 William Vivian, aged 63, born in Illogan, tin mine agent, and wife Rebecca Vivian, aged 61, born in St. Kew, were living in Park Bottom, Illogan. With them were children (born in Illogan) Joseph (24), tin miner, Emma (18), safety fuse factory girl, Anne (15), dress maker.

Administration of the effects of William Vivian late of Tuckingmill in the parish of Camborne in the county of Cornwall, mine agent, who died 20 May 1877 at Tuckingmill, was granted 29 September at Bodmin to William Vivian of the parish of St. Agnes in the said county, mine agent, the son and one of the next of kin. Effects under £50. 3

William married Rebecca Stevens, daughter of Joseph Stephens and Jane Seccombe, on 26 Dec 1826 in Illogan, Cornwall. (Rebecca Stevens was born about 1810 in St. Kew, Cornwall and was buried on 27 Jun 1891 in Illogan, Cornwall, aged 81 years.)
