In 1851 Eleanor Vivian, aged 59, born in Crowan Cornwall, and husband Nicholas Vivian, aged 60, born in Camborne Cornwall, mine agent, were living in Camborne. With them were children Mary A. (29) of Crowan, Elen (26) of Swansea Glamorganshire, and John (23) of Camborne.

On the 7th inst., after a long illness, borne with christian fortitude and resignation, the beloved wife of Capt. N. Vivian, of the Condurrow Mines. She was exemplary in all the duties of life, and her loss will be severely felt by a large circle of mourning relatives and friends.
