In 1871 Eleanor B. W. Newton, aged 46, born near Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales, and husband Henry V. Newton, aged 50, born in Camborne, auctioneer & farmer of 162 acres employing 4 men, 3 women and 1 boy, were living in Farm House, Camborne.

In 1881 Elinor B. Newton, aged 56, born in Glamorganshire Wales, and husband Henry V. Newton, aged 60, born in Camborne, farmer of 160 acres 5 men and 2 women, were living in Polstrong, Camborne.
