In 1851 Nicholas Vivian, aged 60, born in Camborne Cornwall, mine agent, and wife Eleanor Vivian, aged 59, born in Crowan Cornwall, were living in Camborne. With them were children Mary A. (29) of Crowan, Elen (26) of Swansea Glamorganshire, and John (23) of Camborne.
In October 1856 Nicholas Vivian and his wife Eleanor Ball Williams Vivian were present at the marriage of Nicholas' niece Lavinia Branwell to Francis John Cornish in Camborne, Cornwall.
In 1861 Nicholas Vivian, aged 70, born in Camborne, widower, mine agent, was living in Camborne Veor, Camborne. With him daughters Mary Dunkin Vivian (39) of Crowan, unmarried, and Eleanor B. W. Vivian (36) of Wales, unmarried.
