In 1841 Frances Gurney, aged about 45, born in the county, and husband Edwin Gurney, aged about 40, surgeon, were living in Town, Camborne, Cornwall. With them was daughter Frances (15).
In 1850 Frances Knight Gurney was named as a beneficiary in her husband's will. In 1854 Frances renounced Administration (with the will annexed) in favour of her daughter Frances Knight Vivian Vivian (wife of William Cock Vivian).
In 1851 Frances Knight Gurney, aged 59, born in Camborne, and husband Edwin G. S. Gurney, aged 54, born in St. Allen, Cornwall, member of Royal College of Surgeons, & Licentate Apoth. Company London 1818), were living in Town, Camborne.
