Abstract of the Will of Edwyn Godfrey Scholey Gurney of the Town and Parish of Camborne in the County of Cornwall, Surgeon, written 6 Jun 1850, proved 25 Aug 1854. 3
Gives all his property and debts that may be owing to him to his wife Frances Knight Gurney for life, and after her death to his daughter Frances Knight Vivian Vivian, wife of William Cock Vivian, and his son Thomas Vivian Gurney. To his son he gives all his surgical fittings and fixtures, drugs, surgical instruments and the silver tankard. All the household furniture, the silver or plate he gives equally to his son and daughter.
Gives to Christian Carter his house in Salcombe? Street in Camborne for life, along with 30 shillings monthly during the time she remains unmarried.
Witnesses: Joseph Vivian of Reskadinnick, Camborne, and Wm. Yewens, Camborne, solicitor.
Administration with the Will annexed was granted to Frances Knight Vivian Vivian the wife of William Cock Vivian, the daughter and the residuary legatee for life substituted in the said will, there being no executor named, and the widow Frances Knight Gurney having renounced the Letters of Administration.
