In 1881 William Hawken, aged 30, born in St. Ervan Cornwall, warehouseman, and wife Laura G. Hawken, aged 29, born in Perran Cornwall, were living at 12 Cuthill Rd., Camberwell, Surrey. Present were mother-in-law Elizabeth Ould (67) of Perran, widow, niece Letitia E. Kingwell (7) of Camberwell, and brother Thomas H. Hawken (28) of St. Ervan, single, draper.
In 1891 William Hawken, aged 40, born in St. Ervan Cornwall, warehouseman drapery business, and wife Laura G Hawken, aged 40, born in Perranaworthal Cornwall, were living at 206 The Grove, Camberwell.
