In 1901 Joseph Hawken, aged 63, born in St. Erme* Cornwall, single, farmer, was living in Nancor Farm, Creed. With him were sister Martha A Hawken (60) of St. Erme*, single, housekeeper, and brother John Hawken (59) of St. Erme*, single, farmer.
* This should be St. Ervan.
