"Wedding

The marriage of Mr. P. F. Hely, of Wellington, youngest son of Mr. J. T. Hely, Wagga, and Miss Alice Lloyd, youngest daughter of Mrs. M. A. Lloyd, Parkes, was celebrated on March 18 at St. Barnabas' Church of England, Bathurst. The ceremony took place at 8 p.m., the Rev. R. O. Ball officiating. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the residence of Mrs. E. Smith, where light refreshments were partaken of. The bride wore a travelling dress of blue silk voile, trimmed tucked silk, applique, and sets of vandyke tucks, white beaver hat trimmed with ostrich feathers and ribbon ; also gold chain and photo pendant, gift of bridegroom. Miss L. Payne acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. P. Bayliss (Vale Creek) as best man. Their gifts from the bridegroom were gold brooch and gold sleeve links respectively. The happy couple left, amidst showers of confetti, by tho 9.30 train for Sydney. The presents were numerous and valuable, amongst them being a handsome dinner service from the bridegroom's fellow employees." 8
