In 1881 Charles V. Thomas, aged 21, born in Camborne Cornwall, solicitor's articled clerk, was with his parents in Tregenna Villa, Camborne.

In 1891 Charles Vivian Thomas, aged 31, born in Camborne, solicitor, and wife Caroline Emily Thomas, aged 34, born in Stamford Lincolnshire, were living in Basset Rd., Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) Julia G. (5), Doris Winifred (3), and Charles C. (11 months).

In 1901 Charles V. Thomas, aged 41, born in Camborne, solicitor, and wife Caroline E. Thomas, aged 44, born in Stamford Lincoln, were living in Beacon Hill, Camborne. With them were children: Doris W. (13), Charles C. (10), and Donald W. (8).
