Named as a beneficiary in her husband's Will (written 1840), in which she is bequeathed all his goods, chattels, houses and money owing to him, for her use while she remains single.
In 1851 Phillis King (64) of Marazion, widow, annuitant, was living in Ventonleague, Phillack. With her were granddaughters Eliza King (14) of Phillack, scholar, and Elizabeth Ann King (13) of St. Austell.
In 1861 Phillis King (73) of Phillack, widow, fund holder, was boarding with widow Alice Paull in Venton League, Phillack.
