DEATH OF MR. S. BLIGHT.—The death of Mr. Stephen Blight, aged 87, occurred at his residence at Robarte's-terrace, Illogan, on Saturday. Although he had been unwell for some time, the end came unexpectedly, and he was confined to his bed only two days. He was a Liberal in politics, and in his earlier days served as a member on the old School Board, Parish Council, overseer, Board of Guardians, and was a churchwarden. His brother, Mr. R. Blight, pre-deceased him by about two years, and he leaves one sister, with whom sympathy is expressed. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at Illogan Parish Churchyard, the Rev. H. Oxland officiating. The mourners were Messrs. E., A., and H. Jeffery, J. Blight (cousins), P. Bawden (Redruth), H. Harris, B. Bawden, J. Letcher, Webber, T. Allen, R. Polkinghorne, and others....
