"DEATH.— Mrs. H. Bohlsen, wife of Mr. H. Bohlsen, a highly respected townsman, died on Tuesday evening from the effects of a complaint from which she had been suffering for many years. The deceased, who was widely known, and generally liked, was well advanced in years, and leaves a large grown-up family, for whom the greatest sympathy is felt." 7

Will of Charlotte Bohlsen late of Hornsby, Married Woman, written 22 Jun 1903, probate 21 Nov 1906.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Charlotte Bohlsen of George Street Hornsby in the Colony of New South Wales. After payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I Give Devise and Bequeath unto my dear husband Henry G. Bohlsen all my real and personal estate of whatsoever nature and kind and wheresoever situate whether in possession, reversion, remainder, expectancy or otherwise (including all estates vested in me as Trustee or Mortgages subject to the equities affecting the same) which I may be possessed of or entitled to at the time of my decease his heirs executors administrators and assigns for his sole and separate use and benefit absolutely free from the debts engagements interference and control of any wife with whom he may at any time hereafter intermarry, and so that his receipts alone whether covert? or sole shall be good and sufficient discharges for the same. And I Hereby Appoint my said Husband Henry G. Bohlsen sole Executor of this my Will. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three. Charlotte Bohlsen.
Signed by the said Charlotte Bohlsen the Testatrix and by her declared to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in her presence ... and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses: James Miners, Hornsby, R. H. Robinson, Hornsby.
21st November 1906. By Act of Court Probate of the Will of the said deceased was granted to Henry Gerhard Bohlsen of George Street Hornsby, Tailor, The Sole Executor named in the said Will. Testatrix died 26th June 1906. Estate sworn at £202-19-9 Net. 11
