In 1721 Mary the wife of the Reverend Mr. Hugh Ley, rector of Redruth, was a beneficiary of her father's will, receiving £5.

In 1737 Mary the wife of Hugh Ley of Redruth was co-executor and a residuary legatee of her mother's will.

In 1750 Mary Halse was a beneficiary of her husband's will, receiving a tenement with its rents in Redruth along with all his household goods.
