Abstract of the Will of Tobias Lanyon of Lanyon in the Parish of Gwinear in the County of Cornwall, Gentleman, written 23 Aug 1718, proved 26 Apr 1721. 3
Gives £5 to his son Tobias Lanyon.
Gives £5 to his daughter Mary now the wife of the Reverend Mr. Hugh Ley, rector of Redruth.
Gives £300 each to his sons and daughters, John Lanyon and Henry Lanyon, Dorothy Lanyon and Elizabeth Lanyon.
Gives, devises and bequests to his brothers-in-law the Rev. Mr. John Penneck, chancellor of the cathedral church at Exeter, Mr. Francis Penneck and Mr. Charles Penneck, to his wife, and to his friend Mr. Benjamin Spernon, all his lands and tenements commonly called Coswyn als. Polwheele in Gwinear, to hold in Trust for his said children.
Appoints his wife Mary Lanyon sole executrix of his last will and testament.
