McLARDY—ATHERTON WEDDING

At St. Swithin's Pymble.

A trim suit of guardsman blue, finished with military steel buttons and tucked-in satin blouse, was the unusual choice of Miss Marie Atherton, who was married on Saturday at St. Swithin's Church, Pymble, Sydney, to Mr. Oswald McLardy.
A colourful posy of pink carnations touched with blue delphinium completed the ensemble worn by the bride, who is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Atherton, of Pymble, and formerly of Rockhampton.
The bridesmaid, Miss Ida McLardy, wore a smart suit of caramel shaded marocain, made with a trim pleated skirt and bolero jacket.
An informal family reception was held at the bride's Pymble home, where her mother received the guests wearing a chic black and white ensemble. She was assisted to entertain by the bridegroom's mother, clad in a navy suit and matching toque.
Rev. H. Noble officiated, and Mr. Bill Austin attended the bridegroom, who is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. McLardy, of Pymble.
