LATE MRS. EMILY NEWICK.—
The funeral took place at Wadhurst on Thursday of Mrs. Emily Newick, aged 81, who passed away at 3, The Angle, Cockmount Lane. She was the widow of Mr. H. Newick, and brought up a large family of 12. Six sons and two daughters are still living and there are 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Family mourners were Mr. H. Newick, Mr. W. Newick, Mr. A. Newick, Mr. J. Newick, Mr. and Mrs. E. Newick, Mr. and Mrs. S. Newick, Mr. and Mrs. H. Tompsett, Mr. and Mrs. Nye, Mr. and Mrs. H. Duplock, Mrs. F. Newick, Mrs. K. Newick, Mrs. Lord, Miss F. Newick, Miss E. Nye, Mr. T. Newick and Master Edward Newick, and others were Mrs. W. Smith, Mrs. B. Martin, Mrs. H. Deeprose, Mrs. P. Neal, Mrs. N. Tompsett, Mrs. Richardson and Mrs. W. Palmer....
