In Mar 1908 Mabel Wenham was present at the marriage of her brother Sydney Wenham to Kate Norris in Hailsham.
At the time of the 1911 England Census Mabel Wenham, age 30, born in Eastbourne, was with her parents at 122 Pevensey Road, Eastbourne.
In the 1939 Register Mabel Turvey (b. 4 Oct 1880*), unpaid domestic duties, and husband Frederick Turvey (b. 30 Aug 1889), chauffeur gardener, were living in Pond Cottage, Henley Down, Catsfield Sussex.
* The year 89 has 80 written above it, which is correct.

Hooe Funeral
The funeral took place at Hooe Parish Church on Friday last week, of Mrs. Mabel Turvey, of 2, Court Lodge.
Born at Eastbourne 67 years ago, Mrs. Turvey and her husband lived for 10 years at Henley Down, Catsfield, before moving to Hooe six months ago. Mr. Frederick Turvey is head gardener at Court Lodge. Also bereaved are two daughters.
The Rev. J. Hilton Wright (vicar) officiated, and the immediate mourners were Mr. F. Turvey (widower), Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wootten (son-in-law and daughter), Miss Lilian Turvey (daughter), and Mr. S. Wenham (brother).
