TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25th....
Oscar Adams, a bricklayer, was charged with being drunk and disorderly, and throwing stones at the constable, in JohnsStreet.
Police constable Davison said he saw prisoner in Edward street last night, with several others, creating a disturbance. He spoke to prisoner, and prisoner then took up several small stones and threw them at him. He followed prisoner to Thomas street, where he lives, and as prisoner would not go away he took him into custody.
Prisoner denied throwing any stones.
The Chief Constable said he knew nothing against the prisoner.
Mr. Bigge fined prisoner 5s. and costs ; in default, seven days' imprisonment.

At the time of the 1881 Frank Adams (36) of Brighton, unmarried [sic], bricklayer, was lodging with [his brother] Henry Adams, bricklayer, and his family, at 15 Woburn Place, Brighton.
