Coroner's Verdict (abridged)

"The inquest into the deaths of Jack and Jean Margaret Aubrey, the youthful victims of the double shooting tragedy on September 4, was held at the Court-house yesterday morning by Mr. H. W. Hall (Coroner), who returned a verdict that Jean Margaret Aubrey had died from a bullet wound maliciously and wilfully inflicted by Jack Aubrey and that the latter had died as the result of self-inflicted wounds..." 4
