In 1891 Clarence Taylor, aged 18, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, pupil teacher, was with his parents in High Street S E Side Wootton Bassett.
In 1911 Clarence George Taylor, aged 38, born in Wootton Bassett Wilts, railway clerk, and wife of 15 years Henrietta, aged 44, born in Whitkirk Yorks (no children), were living in Beau Villa, Avenue Road, St. Neots, Huntingdonshire.

RAILWAY LOSS.
Death of Chief Goods Clerk at Doncaster.
The death occurred in a Doncaster nursing home, yesterday, after a two weeks illness, from pneumonia and pleurisy, of Mr. Clarence George Taylor (58), of Royal Avenue, Doncaster.
A native of Wiltshire, Mr. Taylor had spent all his working life on the railway, and had been about nine years in Doncaster, where he was chief goods clerk at the Doncaster L.N.E.R. Central Goods Depot.
He was a member of the Doncaster Parish Church Choir and treasurer of Doncaster Town Cricket Club.
A memorial service will be held at Doncaster Parish Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
