At the time of the 1851 England Census Charles W Spackman, aged 28, born in Cheltenham Gloucesters., plasterer, and wife Mary, aged 30, born in Ireland, were living at St. Ann's Terrace, Cheltenham. With them were children (born in Cheltenham) Charles (2) and Jane (1). Visiting were Jane Braggen? (25) of Ireland, married, and her children (born in Cheltenham) Joseph Braggen? (6) and Mary Braggen?.

In 1852 Charles William Spackman was co-executor of his father's Will.

At the time of the 1861 England Census Charles W Spackman, aged 37, born in Prestbury Gloster, plasterer employing 2 men, and wife Mary, aged 47, born in Ireland, were living at 14 Albert Pl, Cheltenham Gloucestershire.
