Abstract of the Will of Bartholomew Horsell Senior of Nore Marsh in the Parish of Wootton Bassett in the County of Wilts, Yeoman, written 23 Apr 1812, proved 7 Dec 1812. 5
Gives, devises & bequeaths his freehold messuage or tenement with outbuildings, lands, hereditaments and appurtenances in Greenhill in the parish of Purton, together with his messuage or tenement &c in the parish of Wootton Bassett to his son Bartholomew Horsell and his heirs forever. But has is said son is now in service to king and country overseas, and if he should die as a victim of war or of the seas before he takes possessions of his estates, then he desires that his son William Horsell will hold the said estates in Trust for the survivors of his said son Bartholomew.
Gives and bequeaths to his said son Bartholomew his silver cup.
Gives and bequeaths £200 to his daughter Mary the wife of William Parham.
All the rest, residue and remainder of his personal estates he gives, devises and bequeaths to his wife Anne Horsell and his son William Horsell, appointing them co-executors and trustees of his last will and testament.
