In 1701 Bartholomew Horsell and Bartholomew Horsell Junr were witnesses to the Will of Robert Parsons of Wootton Bassett. In the following year Bartholomew was a beneficiary of his late father's Will.

In May 1706 Bartholomew Horsell and his brother John Horsell were granted Administration of their mother's personal effects.

In 1729 Bartholomew Horsell was a witness to the Will of his uncle John Maskelyne of Wootton Bassett (husband of Bartholomew's aunt Edith Maskelyne née Horsell).
