In 1793 Thomas Chesterman was a witness at the marriage of his sister Mary to Henry BAILY.
In 1811 Thomas Chesterman of Tytherton in the Parish of Brimhill in co. Wilts, yeoman, was nominated in the Will of his brother John Chesterman of Clyffe Pypard, Yeoman as one of the Trustees of his said brother's family.

Gives and bequeaths £20 to his nephew William Chesterman when he turns 14.
The residue and remainder of his property he gives and bequeaths to his wife Patience Chesterman for her natural life unless she re-marries. If she does re-marry, then he gives and bequeaths the same equally between his wife Patience Chesterman, his daughter Mary Chesterman and his daughter Ann Chesterman.
Appoints his said wife Patience Chesterman sole executor of his last will and testament.
