Abstract of the Will of John Chesterman of the Parish of Cliffe Pypard in the County of Wilts., Yeoman, written 17 Jan 1784, proved 14 Jun 1790. 4
Gives and bequeaths all his plate, jewels, rings, ready money, wearing apparel, securities, debts due and owing to him, stock of cattle of all kinds, implements of husbandry, household goods, chattels and personal estate, to his four children to be equally divided among them.
Nominates and appoints his two sons, John and Thomas, to be joint executors of his last will and testament.
