In 1841 Elizabeth Bendall, aged 20, seamstress, was with her widowed mother in Lake Lane, Portsea Hampshire.

In 1851 Elizabeth Emery, aged 31, born in Portsea, staymaker, and husband Jamess Emery, aged 33, born in Portsea, boot & shoe maker, were living in Providence Path Portsea Hants. Present was daughter Sarah (2) of Portsea.

In 1861 Elizabeth Emery, aged 40, born in Portsea, stay worker, and husband James Emery, aged 43, born in Portsea, journeyman shoemaker, were living at 7 Crasswell St., Portsea Hants. Present were children (born in Portsea): Sarah (12), nurse maid, James (8), scholar, George (6), scholar, Elizabeth (4), John (1), Joseph (1 mo), mother Lucy Bendall (81) of C[ol]linbourne Wilts, widow, formerly laundress.

In 1891 Elizabeth Emery, aged 72, born in Portsmouth, widow, staymaker, was with her daughter Elizabeth Palmer and her family at 23 Glidden St., Portsea Hants.
