Evan Wynne of Cefn cymera was named in the Will of Richard Evans of Cwmyrafon, Esq. (written 1789) as husband of Richard's niece Jane, and father of John Evans Wynne, Robert Wynne and Humphrey Evans Wynne.
In 1812 Evan Wynne was a witness at the marriage of his younger brother John to widow Jane Roberts.

Abstract of the Will of Evan Wynne of Cefn ŷ Cymera in the Parish of Llanbedr in the County of Merioneth, Gentleman, written 15 Dec 1829, inventory taken 13 Jul 1830, proved 23 Oct 1830.
Gives & bequeaths 1 shilling to his eldest son Robert Wynne.
Gives 1 shilling to his grandson Griffith Evans.
Gives 1 shilling to his granddaughter Jane Evans.
Gives 1 shilling to his granddaughter Ellinor Barrow.
Gives 1 shilling to his youngest son Humphrey Evans.
All the rest, residue & remainder of his personal estate he gives & bequeaths to his wife Jane Wynne and to his daughter Jane Evans Wynne, share and share alike.
Constitutes and makes his said wife and daughter co-executrices of his last will and testament.
