On 25 Sep 1838 Jane Wynne Owen was granted Letters of Administration for the personal effects of her late husband Owen Davies Owen late of Shrewsbury Salop but at the time of his death of Bryncwning in the Parish of Rhuddlan in the County of Flint, land surveyor.

In 1851 Jane Davies Owen (56) of Llanbedr, widow, retired schoolmistress, was living in Bryngwyn, Llanfair, Merioneth.

In 1861 Jane W. Owen (67) of Llanbedr, land surveyor's widow, was living in Artro Cottage, Llanbedr.
