At the time of the 1841 England Census Thos Hunt, aged about 40, bricklayer, and wife Mary Hunt, aged about 40, were living in Ashford Kent. Present were children: Jehu Hunt (13), Thomas (11), Caroline (8), Mary A (6), Maria (5), Elizth (2).

At the time of the 1851 England Census Thomas Hunt, age 49, born in Dymchurch Kent, bricklayer employing 2 men, and wife Mary Hunt, age 55, born in Bredgar Kent, were living at 50 Week Street, Maidstone Kent. With them were daughters Mary Ann (17) of Ashford, and Elizabeth (12) of Ashford.

At the time of the 1861 England Census Thomas Hunt, age 59, born in Dymchurch Kent, bricklayer, and wife Mary Hunt, age 63, born in Bredgar Kent, were living in Back Lane, Ashford Kent. Present were daughter Mary A Clark (27) of Ashford, married, bricklayer's wife, and grandchildren (born in Ashford): Thomas Clark (6), scholar, George Clark (4), scholar, Fanny Clark (2) and Caroline Clark (8 m).

ASHFORD.

ODD FELLOWS' FUNERAL.—The remains of the late Thomas Hunt, for many years an inhabitant of this town, were conveyed to his last resting-place on Sunday last. The body was followed to the grave by his relatives, and by upward of 40 of his friends and brother members of No. 1, Minerva Lodge, A.I.O.F., who wore their black sashes of the order. The deceased had been a member of the above order for 40 years. His decease is deplored by all who knew him.
