Griffith Pryse is named as deceased in the Will of his brother-in-law David Griffith of Ynys gwrtheirn in Llanenddwyn, yeoman (written 1763), who made a bequest of £20 to Griffith's children. 3

Gives and bequeaths to his son Rice Pryse his silver tumbler.
Gives and bequeaths to his son Thomas Pryse his clock after the decease of Thomas's mother.
Gives and bequeaths £5 to his son Hugh.
Gives and bequeaths £10 to his son Richard.
Gives and bequeaths £10 to his daughter Jane.
All the rest, residue and remainder of his goods and effects he gives, devises and bequeaths to his wife Catherine Roberts whom he appoints Executrix of his last will and testament. But if his wife shall have the money that John Williams owes him then he gives an additional £5 each to his younger children beginning with Rice, and to Richard all his implements of husbandry.
Desires that his brother-in-law John Garnons, his cousin Lewis Meyrick and his son Rice Pryse be Trustees of his last will and testament.
