On Sunday morning last Mr. James Fisher, or Capt. Fisher, as he was commonly called, died suddently at his residence, No. 18, Northfield-terrace. Deceased had been for many years in the merchant service, and was of robust health. On Saturday he complained of a bilious attack, and in the evening he bought a blue pill, which he took about eleven o'clock. At eight on Sunday morning he got up, but afterwards went to bed again, and his wife noticed that he breathed with great difficulty. She asked him what was the matter, and getting no reply she became alarmed and sent for Dr. Cottle, but before he arrived her husband had expired. An inquest was held yesterday evening, and a verdict of death from natural causes was returned.
