In 1851 Ellen Mary de Villa, age 38, born in North Mundham Sussex, married, gentlewoman, and children Teodolinda de Villa, age 15, born in Southampton Hants., scholar at home, Felix de Villa, age 13, born in Caen Normandy France, scholar at home, were with Ellen's widowed mother Charlotte Tufnell in North St., St. Olave, Chichester, Sussex.
In 1861 Ellen M Manso de Villa, age 48, born in North Mundham, widow, was living at 4 Hunter St., St. George, Bloomsbury, London. With her was son John, age 23, born in Caen Normandy, and her widowed mother Charlotte Tugnell, age 74, born in Chichester Sussex.

Desires her body to be buried at North Mundham in Chichester, county Sussex.
Gives to her friend Edward Sterling Lambert of 12 Edwardes Square Kensington her armchair which is his favorite and formerly belonged to her mother, and her 64 volumes of Blackwood with the bookcase.
Gives all of her wardrobe and wearing apparel to her friend Mrs. Eliza Newbery of 16 Burton Crescent Middlesex.
Gives and bequeaths an annuity of £22 to John Hodges of North Mundham near Chichester Sussex.
Gives and bequeaths the residue of her property to her son Felix.
Appoints William Joseph Jarrett and Frederick Charles Jarrett, esquires, as co-executors of her last will and testament.
