  Research Notes:

In 1881 Grace Phillips, aged 37, born in Wendron Cornwall, and husband John Michael Phillips, aged 42, born in Stithians Cornwall, innkeeper, were living in Lower Market Street, St. Gluvias Cornwall. Present were children John Moyle (12) of Tilt Cove Newfoundland, Lavinia Jane (10) of Tilt Cove, and Ethel Maude (1) of Wendron.

In 1891 Grace Phillips, aged 47, born in Wendron Cornwall, and husband John M. Phillips, aged 51, born in Stithians Cornwall, mine captain, were at the Wild Duck Inn, Pencoys Lancarrow, Wendron. Present were daughters Lavinia J. M. (20) of Newfoundland, Ethel M. (11) of Pencoys, scholar, mother Lavinia Moyle (71) of Camborne, living on own means.

In 1901 Grace Phillips, aged 56, born in Wendron Cornwall, married, was visiting John Earle, egg merchant, and his wife Elizabeth Jane, at 83 Falmouth Road, Redruth.

Grace married John Michael Phillips, son of Samuel Phillips and Mary, on 15 Oct 1863 in Holy Trinity Church, Carnmenellis, Cornwall 1. (John Phillips was born in 1839 in Stithians, Cornwall.)
