In 1731 Thomas Glynn was the sole executor and residuary legatee of the will of his uncle John Glynn, rector of Crowan.
In 1753 Thomas Glynn of Helston, Esq. was overseer of the will of his aunt Susanna Hearle of Cuby with Tregony, widow.

Gives to his wife Cordelia Glynn, for the term of her natural life or for as long as she remains a widow, his dwelling house in Helston currently occupied by his daughter Cordelia Grylls. After the death or remarriage of his wife he wills the same to his son Thomas Glynn.
Gives to his wife Cordelia Glynn her rings, pearl necklace and other jewelry, as well as any money in her possession plus £40.
Gives £10 each to his grandchildren, sons and daughters of his daughter Cordelia Grylls.
Gives to his nephew Richard Johns of Helston, gent. his tenement called Chynhale otherwise Chenhale in the parish of Wendron.
Gives £10 to his daughter Cordelia Grylls and one guinea to his nephew Richard Johns.
All the rest of his personal and real estate he gives to his son Thomas Glynn, making him residuary legatee and sole executor of his last will and testament.
