Research Notes:
In 1823 Edward Trevenen was named as a beneficiary in his father's will, to receive £2,000.
In 1829 Edward Trevenen was sole executor of the will of his late brother the Rev. John Trevenen, rector of Creed.
In 1841 Edward Trevenen, aged about 55, not born in the county, Clerk, and wife Emma Trevenen, aged about 50, not born in the county, were at the Rectory, Drewsteignton, Devon. With them were (daughters) Marianne (15) and Elizabeth (15).

Abstract of the Will of Edward Trevenen, Rector of Drewsteignton in the County of Devon, written 11 Sep 1833, proved 24 Sep 1846. 5
Gives £100 to Charlotte the widow of his late friend William Dowell, Rector of Holme Lacy in the county of Hereford.
Gives to his brother-in-law Philip Cazenove of Upper Clapton in co. Middlesex, and to his brother-in-law Glynn Grylls of Helston in co. Cornwall, all his freehold and leasehold estates,his stocks, funds and securities for money, and all personal and real estate, in trust, to convert into money to invest in governmental or real securities at interest, for the benefit of his children once they turn twenty-one. And if his children should die underage, then he gives the same to his sister Lydia Johns Trevenen and her heirs.
Appoints his trustees, the said Philip Cazenove and Glynn Grylls, guardians of his children and executors of his will.

In a codicil dated 23 Nov 1837 he notes that the fortune of his wife Emma is £4,500, and that their marriage to her he settled on her £5,500, totalling £10,000, the interest from which shall result in her receiving an annual income of £500.
