On Friday the 20th of March, at the Parsonage, after a severe illness, the Rev. John Trevenen, Rector of Creed, in this County, esteemed and much regretted by his family, friends, and parishioners.

Abstract of the Will of John Trevenen, Clerk, Rector of Creed, written 10 Mar 1828, proved 8 May 1829. ³

Gives £4,000 to his brother James.

Gives to his brother Thomas the next presentation to the Rectory of St. Ewe.

Gives £2,000 each to his nephews William Trevenen and John Trevenen, the two sons of his late brother William.

Gives an annuity of £100 to his mother-in-law.

Gives £1,000 each to his sisters Lydia, Mary, Charlotte, Jane and Harriet.

All the rest of his personal estate he gives to his brother Edward Trevenen and his heirs, appointing his said brother sole executor of his will.

In a codicil dated 3 Mar 1829, he gives to his brother James an additional £1,000, his mother-in-law an additional £100 annuity, and to his four sisters Mary, Charlotte, Jane and Harriet, an additional £500 each.

All his freehold and copyhold messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments to which he is entitled under the will of his late maternal uncle or grandfather or by descent from either of them, he gives to his brother Edward and his heirs.

All other his freehold and copyhold messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments, he gives to his friends Humphry Millett Grylls, Esq^r., and John Vivian of Penkalenick, in trust, to pay the following legacies from his late father's will of which he was executor: £2,000 to his brother James, £2,000 to the estate of his late brother William, and £3,000 to his brother Thomas.
