In 1851 Frances Vivian, aged 34, born in Kenwyn Cornwall, and husband Alexander Vivian, aged 52, born in Gwennap Cornwall, copper core sampler, were living in Gwennap. With them were sons (born in Gwennap) Alexander F. Enoch (7), scholar, Alfred Elijah (5), scholar, John Eamis (2), scholar, and Frederic (7 months).
In 1861 Frances Vivian, aged 42, born in Kenwyn, widow, housekeeper, was in Goongumpus, Gwennap. With her were children (born in Gwennap) Alexander E. (17), copper miner, Alfred E. (15), scholar, John E. (12), scholar, Francis (10), scholar, Mary J. F. (10), Joseph (7), servant John Manley (38) of Gwennap.
In 1871 Frances Vivian, aged 63 [sic], born in Kenwyn, widow, annuitant, was in Goongumpus, Gwennap. At home was daughter Mary F. (20) of Gwennap, domestic servant.
Shortly after this Census, Frances married John Manley (see 1861).
In 1881 Frances Manley, aged 64, born in Kenwyn, and husband John Manley, aged 57, born in Gwennap, farm labourer, were in Goongumpus, Gwennap.
