In 1861 Nina Grace Close, aged 26, born in Northampton, married, fundholder, and daughter Nina Gertrude Close (2) of East Indies, were with Nina's widowed mother at 9 Rockstone Place, Southampton All Saints, Hampshire.
In 1871 Maria* G. Close, aged 36, born in Wellingborough, and husband Granville Close, aged 43, born in Cheltenham Glostr., Lt Colonel R E, were at St. Austins, Boldre, Lymington, Hampshire. With them was daughter Maria* G. (12) of Poona Bombay, scholar.
