  Research Notes:

Mr. Charles A. Vivian died at his residence, Clifton-terrace, Hayle, early on Monday morning, at the age of 45 years. Deceased was for many years chief engineer in the employ of E. Rain and Son, St. Ives, leaving the steamer Trelawny early in November last through illhealth. There was a great improvement up to last week, but on Friday he had a relapse. He was a member of the Cornubian Lodge of Freemasons.
