In 1820 Elizabeth the wife of Captain John Vivian became a beneficiary of her father's will.
In 1861 Elizabeth Vivian, aged 74, born in Gwinear, and husband John Vivian, aged 76, born in Phillack, retired shipmaster, were living at Hayle Foundry, St. Erth. With them was grandson John Vivian (22) of Bristol Somerset, merchant's clerk.
In 1871 Elizabeth Vivian, aged 85, born in Gwinear, widow, was living at Foundry, St. Erth.

ACCIDENT.—Mrs. Vivian, widow of the late Capt. John Vivian, of Foundry, Hayle, has met with a very sad accident. While upstairs passing from one room to another in her own house, she fell and broke her thigh. Mr. Mudge, surgeon, is attending her, but the old lady being nearly 90 years of age, her restoration cannot be soon expected.
