Research Notes:
An inquest was held yesterday before Dr. Willmot, the City Coroner, on the body of John Vivian, forty-seven years of age, who died suddenly from apoplexy, between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. Deceased was a clerk in the office of Mr. Barnard Matthews, of this city, and was found dead in the office, about half past nine o'clock, a.m., yesterday. It is optional for the clerks to remain to conclude their business after office hours on Saturdays, and the deceased appears to have done so, as he had evidently been dead for twenty-four hours, or more. Verdictapoplexy."
