In 1861 Eleanor Vivian, aged 44, born in St. Erth Cornwall, and husband William Vivian, aged 47, born in Gwinear, grocer, were at West Villa, Phillack, Cornwall. With them were children, (a) born in St. Erth: Henry W. (19), engine smith, Susan (17), grocer's assistant, Elizth. J. (11), scholar, Nanny (8), scholar, and (b) born in Phillack: Margaret Pearce (5), scholar, Charles A. (2). Present also was son-in-law James Michell (30) of Phillack, ship agent, and his wife Ellen F. (20), ship agent's wife.

In 1871 Eleanor Vivian, aged 54, born in Phillack Cornwall, widow, deriving income from houses and dividends, was in West Villa, Phillack. At home were children Frank J. (25) of St. Erth, retail grocer, Elizabeth J. (21), grocer's daughter, Margaret P. (15), grocer's daughter, Charles A. The Will of Eleanor Vivian late of Hayle in the county of Cornwall, widow, who died 26 July 1875 at Hayle, was proved 23 August at the Principal Registry by Ellen Freeman Trerise (wife of James Whitelock Trerise, merchant's clerk) of Falmouth in the said county, the daughter, and Francis William Pool of Hayle, engineer, the executors.
