In April 1832 Richard Rosewarne of Gwithian was named as a trustee in the will of his brother-in-law Richard Hockin 'the younger' of Gwithian.

In 1841 Richard Rosewarne, aged about 35, born in the county, farmer, and wife Elizabeth Rosewarne, aged about 25, born in the county, were living in Godrivey, Gwithian, Cornwall. With them was son Richard (5).

In 1851 Richard Rosewarne, aged 45, born in Helston Cornwall, teacher of writing, and wife Elizabeth Rosewarne, aged 38, born in Gwithian, were living in Penpol, Phillack, Cornwall. With them was son Richard (14) of Gwithian.

In March 1854 Richard Rosewarne of the parish of Phillack, schoolmaster, was named in the will of his father-in-law Richard Hockin of Gwithian, gent, as husband of Richard's daughter Elizabeth.

In 1861 Richard J. Rosewarne, aged 55, born in Helston, school master, and wife Elizabeth Rosewarne, aged 49, born in Gwithian, were living in Penpol, Phillack. With them was son Richard J. (24) of Gwithian, grocer's assistant.

In 1871 Richard J. Rosewarne, aged 65, born in Helston, widower, retired farmer, was living at 5 Railway Villas, Phillack, Cornwall.
