  Research Notes:

In 1835 John Rosewarne was named as a beneficiary in his mother's will.

In 1851 John Rosewarne, aged 73, born in Gwinear Cornwall, farmer of 180 acres employing 10 labourers & 10 women, and wife Elizabeth Rosewarne, aged 67, born in Gwithian, were living in Godolphin Breage Cornwall. With them were children (born in Phillack Cornwall) Rosevear (34), farmer's son, Ann (30), farmer's daughter, Elizabeth A (26) of Phillack, and brother Henery Rosewarne (71) of Gwinear, widower, retired farmer.

In 1861 John Rosewarne, aged 83, born in Gwinear, gentleman, and wife Elizabeth Rosewarne, aged 77, born in Gwithian, were living in Bodriggy House, Phillack.

The Will with three codicils of John Rosewarne late of the parish of Phillack in the county of Cornwall, gentleman, deceased, who died 8 December 1863 at Breage in the said county, was proved 17 December at Bodmin by the oath of Rosevear Rosewarne of Breage aforesaid, yeoman, the son, the sole executor. Effects under £6,000. 2
