In 1748 Anthony Cock was appointed executor and residuary legatee of the will of his maternal grandfather, Henry Eva of Camborne, receiving his leasehold estate called Nanterrow in the parish of Gwithian. Underage in 1749, Administration was granted to Anthony's father, Henry Cock.
In 1767 Anthony Cock of Gwithian, miller, was a bondsman for the Administration of his late father's goods &c.

Property: on the run or course of a certain load called Wheal Cock, lately cut and discovered in a craft now in the tenure or occupation of John Cock and on the run or course of every other load that shall be cut or discovered within the space of 40 fathoms on either side of the aforesaid load for the space of 300 fathoms in length, to be taken and computed from the west side of the lane leading from Gwithian Churchtown to Connor Downs; also free liberty to take up and begin an adit from or near Garrick Sandy Bank, and drive the same home to the said load called Wheal Cock, and for the space of 40 fathoms to the south thereof, for the better working and unwatering such load and loads as aforesaid; also liberty to work on the run or course of every load or vein that shall be cut or discovered in driving the said adit for the space of 50 fathoms on each side thereof.
Term: 21 years, all minerals; dish 1/7.
Party (2) to continue the adit until it shall be brought home to the extent of the limits of the granted premises.
